County roads cross the county from North to South

and from East toWest and have a total length of 854 km
the link between communes and villages and to the

Water transport. The Danube river is the county
and also the country border with Bulgaria being also an
important navigation way. Here are two harbours
Turnu M gurele at 597 km with quay fit out with 16 t

cranes and Zimnicea at 553 km with quay fit out with 5
t cranes. Between Turnu M gurele and Nicopol
ă
(Bulgaria) exists a passing link for passengers, and in
future is stipulated this crossing point, following the

development of the harbour and setting out the free
areaon about22 haandaferryboat.
In the county the digital telephony has been Gara Roşiorii de Vede
implemented.
